Theme

The theme is ancient Egypt. The reels are set in a pyramid with statues of the gods Ra and Anubis on either side. The high paying symbols from Egyptian mythology are pharaoh, queen, scarab, Isis and asp. The low paying symbols are the usual playing card icons, with hieroglyphic notations in the background. The wild symbol is the ankh.

Important Symbols and Combinations

The Scatter symbol is the cartooney kid in the crocodile costume.

There are no scatter payouts or the regular bonus features, so there is no scatter symbol or bonus symbol. The only important symbol is the wild. It does not appear on the reels in the usual manner but has to be generated within the game. In the Wild Generation feature, symbols that are on top of reels 2, 3 and 4 and are parts of winning combinations will turn into wild symbols for the next Avalanche.

The top prize is awarded by five pharaoh symbols, with one appearing in each reel.

Configuration

Pyramid is a 720 bet way slot game. The five reels have a symbol configuration of 3, 4, 5, 4, 3 from left to right. Bet way wins are formed if the same symbol falls in any position on three or more adjacent reels starting from the left. If there is more than one symbol on a reel in the above configuration, multiple bet way wins are formed.

The coin value can be varied from 0.01 to 2.00. You can select up to 10 levels with 10 coins being wagered per level. The maximum amount wagered per spin is therefore 200.00 credits.

Bonus Rounds

Pyramid does not have a regular bonus game on the second screen. The Avalanche feature serves as the bonus game. The Avalanche feature starts with a bet way win. Symbols in winning combinations explode and disappear and new ones fall in place from above. If winning combinations are again formed then the second Avalanche takes place. The Avalanches will keep coming till there are no more bet way wins. Wild symbols are generated in Avalanches as explained earlier. Wild symbols that are on top of reels 2, 3 and 4 and are parts of winning combinations will not disappear in the Avalanche but remain on the reels. The other attraction is that the Avalanche Multiplier increases by 1x for every three successive Avalanches till it reaches 10x.

Top and Secondary Prizes

The payout table shows the payout in coins per level for one bet way win. The payout for five pharaohs is 50 coins. If you get a bet way win with five pharaohs and with 10 levels activated then the payout will be 500 coins. At maximum coin size this will amount to 1000 credits. The queen symbol awards the second highest payout of 25 coins per level for one bet way win. Pyramid is a low variance slot game. The bigger wins will come in the Avalanches when the multiplier rises.
